  1. That really is a contrast. With the difference in dress and facial expressions it's almost like the daughter was photoshopped into the picture.

  2. Perfect example of a picture saying a thousand words. This is one amazing photo!

  3. So this is the Iva who was making the long train ride recently. It almost looks like Iva is floating there behind her parents. Maybe she was in love ;) wonder if she had met Bob yet.

  4. I love it! She looks like the heroine in the old silent movies like "Perils of Pauline"! Perhaps she was kidnapped by those sullen villains (cue the spooky piano music)?

  5. Great photo! You can see who gains her allegiance (perhaps, at the moment) by the way daughter's head is tilted. Dad's in her favor, mom is not! I think mom looks 10 years older than her husband, don't you? I wonder what their reactions to this photo were when they saw it. And don't you wonder what the occasion was?! Love it!

  6. My gut reaction was that Iva was more than ready for the roaring 20s to start, and Flora and Reese...were not.

  7. Oh Iva sure is pretty. Love the photo, and the fact that she was mentioned in your previous post. Agree with the others also.

  8. Iva is a beautiful young lady and lost in her own thoughts :-) Jo
